World History for Us All presents the human past as a single story rather than unconnected stories of many civilizations. It helps students understand the past by connecting specific subject matter to larger historical patterns. A national collaboration of K-12 teachers, collegiate instructors, and educational technology specialists, it is a project of San Diego State University in cooperation with the National Center for History in the Schools at UCLA.

History Learning Site Chris Trueman BA (Hons), MA set up the site in 2000 as he felt there was no easily accessible and comprehensive website on World History on the web. The site has grown in popularity and is now viewed by hundreds of thousands of people each month from around the world.

Spartacus Educational founder John Simkin became the first educational publisher in Britain to establish a website that was willing to provide teachers and students with free educational materials in 1997. Spartacus Educational is one of the top three websites used by history teachers and students in Britain. The website currently gets up to 7 million page impressions a month.
